Look! Canadian journalist Lee-Anne Goodman interviewed me for the The Chronicle Journal of Thunder Bay, Ontario. In Canada! I love Canada. It gave us Degrassi, and Rush, and Alanis, and Jason Priestley, and hot guys in flannel. And Mounties. And Canadians seemingly want to know what I think of Paris Hilton’s jail sentence! You can probably guess.

“She does very little, she’s shallow, vapid, seemingly bigoted, and always in our faces,” he says. “She’s almost a caricature of people’s idea of the plastic California socialite. Her existence seems like a trashy novel come to life. People take delight (in her misfortunes) because she’s incredibly annoying.”

You can read the entire piece here. Thanks Lee-Anne! Thanks Canada!

45 days in the “slammer” may knock her down a notch or two. I wonder how popular she would be if she did not have her parents money to live off. She tried to “thumb her nose” at the law and will be justly rewarded.

The pleasure was all mine, J. And here is the best part — the Chronicle-Journal is just one of many papers in Canada that ran the story. We work like the AP and our stories go out to news organizations across the country, so you are a blogging star from COAST TO COAST in this fine country.

    p.s. Sorry about Celine Dion.
