Jake Gyllenhaal has teamed up with Global Green USA to launch the National Green Schools initiative with a Green Service Day at Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles. The goal is to encourage the implementation of environmentally-friendly standards in schools across the country.

So, not only is Jake a considerate boyfriend, he’s also trying to save the environment. These pictures of him shopping were probably taken while he was looking for a post-birthday present for Reese Witherspoon, or for a gift to surprise the next homeless person he sees with a Cartier watch, the damn do-gooder.
