Fellow Americans in England Reese Witherspoon, Jake Gyllenhaal and Gwyneth Paltrow met up for a Thanksgiving in London at the Chelsea home of Richard Rogers.
There have been rumblings that Paltrow’s marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is in trouble and it appears that the singer was nowhere to be seen.
As for Reese, she’s most recently claimed that she’s not yet ready to remarry. However, spending this family-oriented holiday with boyfriend Jake certainly seems to be sending the signal that this couple is getting pretty serious.

Chris Martin was absent because he was working – he was finishing his tour in the US. Doesn’t mean they are breaking up! People in the UK don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, so he probably didn’t mind working that night.

Martin was on tour, but his wife said she was having Thanksgiving day dinner for American friends in London. I guess she found something better to attend and traded up.
