I’m guessing that family man Jake Gyllenhaal is missing hanging out with Reese Witherspoon‘s kids. At least he has his sister’s daughter Romona Skarsgard to fill the void.

Jakey was spotted with a slight beard (what is up with the beards on Hollywood’s leading men of late?) on January 31, 2010 with Maggie Gyllyenhaal, her husband Peter Skarsgard and daughter Ramona going out for breakfast at Ammo (I love Ammo) in Hollywood.

Celebrity Baby Scoop has a great quote from Jake about kids: “I’ve learned so much from the kids in my life, and somehow they just become the center of your life and the way you look at things,” Jake said. “Obviously I exist in my girlfriend’s world (he was dating Reese Witherspoon at the time) and my sister’s world in a different way, but it’s opened my heart and I feel much more grown up and want to be grown up as a result of it.”

Aww. He’s going to make someone very happy.
