Scottish actor James McAvoy is heating up screens this fall with his role in “Atonement” co-starring Keira Knightley. The actor is receiving Oscar buzz for his latest role, and made People’s list of “Sexiest Men.” McAvoy spoke about his beautiful co-stars, Keira Knightley and Angelina Jolie (he appears opposite Jolie in the forthcoming “Wanted”). “They’re considered to be the most beautiful people in the world, and I’m clearly not,” McAvoy says. “I don’t think I’ve been hit by the ugly stick or anything. I think I’m a fairly decent-looking guy, but I’m not up there with that.” He describes himself a “nonalpha male.”
While he may not possess the natural hotness of a Brad Pitt or George Clooney, his wife seems to be pretty happy with her man.

Um, as he is my current obsession, I would say that he was definitely NOT hit with the ugly stick. He’s SO hot…especially with his Scottish accent. He was wonderful in “Becoming Jane”, “The Last King of Scotland”, and, ok, was even good-looking as a freaking FAUN in “Narnia”.

Fisrt I saw him on Becoming Jane.I didnot like him.Finally when the story ended.He’s in my heart.He’s great actor. He makes me belive in what he plays.From then I”m his Fan forrever and I always read and discover about him.I can say he’s great actor,his charactor is special and charming.Please tell him brother James, Iove him most.from sister Nadine from Thailand .

I saw him in The last king of Scothland.IT’s amazing.He creat personnality on his way by nature.I wonder why he missed Oscar, incredible thing.Sometime we cannot rely on the credit but I belive we can trust on the truth which we can prove by ourselves and I belive in you,brother James.You’re wonderful.

He is WAAAY better than George Clooney and Brad Pitt, honestly, I’ve never even obsessed about those two guys, including other so-called hunks, like Johnny Depp, not saying they’re not hot or not talented or anything, but I’d pick James over any of those guys any day :] and his wife has a damn good reason to be satisfied with her man, even more so than satisfied, ya’know.

This guy…man I first saw him in children of Dune and I was simply captivated by him and his acting skills his cool character since then I’ve made it a point to check on his career and I’ve never been disappointed..The movie could suck but it would not be because of him and anyway he always seems to choose the best scripts….And now to see him flex his muscles in Wanted…I’m just excited to see him change up his skills a bit but i have NO doubt that he IS going to nail his role in that film…Its the quite demeanor and disposition of him that I love and admire the most…He’s just the guy at the back of the smoke filled bar that you’d notice anyway just…just cause…

i think he is just the most amazing actor ever. he is just breathtaking. i really feel like i love him. i know i dont but i mean i have never had this big a crush on ANYONE in my entire life. even my fella. i love him n i wouldn’t leave my boyfriend for brad pitt(well maybe in troy), or johnny depp(jack sparrow yes), or any of the other gorgeous actors , but james mcavoy, oh yes. he is just such a brilliant actor and oh those eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God I love this guy!! he’s such a versatile actor! He can do like 500 accents, and his acting skills are SUPERB. And even though as you say he doesn’t have the natural hotness of brad pitt or george clooney, he does have a certain spark to him that makes him even hotter.

wow, i just saw wanted and ive gotta say i was so impressed, i couldnt keep my eyes off him the whole movie
he’s just breathtaking, his skills are extraordinary and i agree with everyones comments who are saying that he is an AMAZING actor, i totally didnt rrecognize him in narnia haha
