Before comedian Jamie Foxx was warbling to ladies to “Blame It (On the Alcohol),” the multi-talented comedian claims that an episode with a drug-laced alcoholic drink left him suffering with hallucinogenic episodes.
Foxx was at a college party, sipping on a whiskey he didn’t realize was laced with PCP. As Jamie explains, “I said to my roommate, ‘Something is going on, and I don’t know what it is, but I’m going to ride it out.”
However, he was soon unable to speak and luckily, his roommate recognized something was wrong and took the Oscar-winner to the emergency room. Despite their efforts, Foxx suffered through strange flashbacks from the drug for months after.
That sounds horrible. I wonder if that happened to me once and the whole “Speidi” thing is just a freakish hallucination I’ve been having these past couple of years.
