She is 16 you guys. She is preggers. Yes she made a mistake. So what. She is doing the MATURE thing by not aborting or putting it up for adoption and if she wants to give the kid a shot at having a mom and a dad…be happy for her. She gets thumbs up from me. um, pardon ME Tina, but how is having and keeping the baby anymore “mature” than giving it up for adoption or having an abortion? There are plenty of “mature” women in this world who choose adoption or abortion because it’s what’s best for THEM. They may not have the opportunities and resources that Jamie Lynn has and therefore cannot care for a baby.

and while I agree she should not be persecuted for her “mistake”, she has NOT made “good” choices. here is a girl who is supposed to be a role model for young girls and who is SURELY able to afford and obtain birth control, and yet she chose to engage in sex with her boyfriend, and also chose not to practice safe sex. at least ONE of those is a really bad choice.
