I’ll bet JayZ would think different if Beyonce had won that award and let’s say Eminem snatched the mic from his wife and said the same about her work.

    Bet.

    Hypocracy, nothing more.

He didn’t harm anyone???? What about Taylor, or doesn’t she count?

  4. Michelle | September 20, 2009 at 11:32 am

I call bullshit! “No one got harmed” means nobody he cares about got harmed. No one cares that Taylor Swift was harmed?

Kanye West is a complete bafoon and apparently Jay Z only cares if black people are harmed. Everyone else is a “nobody.”

No one got harmed???? Screw you Jay… Kanye forever ruined what should have been the night of her life. But really, WHO is surprised you’re defending your BRUTHA? Just blame ‘da man’ for all his troubles while you’re at it. As for celebrating Kanye’s passion…lately it’s been a bottle of Hennessy….all he was missing was a brown paper bag. Yeah, he’s a real class act that one…..

    He speaks the truth.

Well he did embarass her publically so duh Jay why wouldn’t he be vilified in the press? Oh please stop making excuses for the little rat bag. He is just trying to drum up some type of publicity for himself at the expense of others. He’s an embarrassment and a drunk, going the way of Lindsay Lohan.

Actually, Jay-Z’s right. No one did get harmed, including Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift was disrepected, she was not harmed. He did not hit her or kill her. He was rude to her. He did not even humiliate her because he was so out of line that he humiliated himself, not her.

She lost 90 seconds of speech time. Because of Beyonce’s generosity, Swift got back the time to give her thank you speech within one hour after she lost it.

She also got publicity that she never could have gotten on her own.

There seems to be an ugly racial dynamic going on here because he was black and she was white. I can’t imagine any of you defending a black star this way.

kanye’s a nerd. he was barely an imposing figure standing next to taylor swift.. and she’s a teenage girl.. blacks pick their targets well.. example: serena williames vs. linejudge

  12. Konstantine | September 21, 2009 at 8:28 am

Of course, someone says something bad about a black guy, and someone else cries racism. You just outed yourself as an idiot, my friend.

  13. LOL | September 21, 2009 at 8:34 am

If you got “harmed” by someone taking your mic when the night of your life is winning an award handed out by the drooling mouth breathers at MTV you got much bigger issues to deal with than Kanye. Those awards are a joke, and shouldn’t be the highlight of one’s life.

Don’t believe me? Two words: Lady Gaga.
