When Jennifer Aniston was a kid she was “impatient” to get her ears pierced. Taking matters into her own hands she rigged a way of piercing her own ears.
“I did it with a potato and a piece of celery. I was around 13, 14. You ice it up, and then there was a string involved, because you take a needle and thread, and then you hit it with the potato, it I remember it correctly. It was a long time ago, but somehow it worked, and you have little string earrings for a while.”
