On the show, the characters Pam and Jim are keeping this secret that they had sex on Valentine’s Day and conceived a baby. The new baby will be their second child.

Fisher lets Nymag.com in on some set details “When we started shooting that [Valentine’s Day] episode, I thought to myself, If everything goes well, this is going to be a very, very convenient coincidence and I think I found out I was pregnant when we were shooting that episode.” Fisher said that the Michael Scott character replacement was chosen, but she is not allowed to say who.
