Although they are no longer dating, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are reportedly doing their darnedest to remain friends post-breakup.

A snitch tells People magazine that the two have been hanging out as friends after their most recent and seemingly final split. The source claims, “They’ve been talking for a while–they’re very friendly.”

Last month, the couple were spotted at the Bowery Hotel in New York City. A witness reports, “She was in casual clothing as was he, and she seemed very comfortable around his crowd of friends.”

Just don’t ask him about politics. It’s kind of a touchy subject with that one.
