E! Online claims that Jennifer Aniston will be taking to the Oscar stage to present an award with comedian Jack Black, however it’s unclear whether or not her boyfriend John Mayer will be walking her down the red carpet.

Mayer dished to Popsugar that he had plans to attend the awards this year and said, “It’s my first Oscars. And it’s my first being an Oscar boyfriend.” But then again, he might be jerking our chain. That one loves to tell a joke.

As for the awards themselves, with Hugh Jackman hosting the event, it’s reportedly set to be a musical extravaganza. High School Musical stars Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron (shown here at the Women in Film’s 2nd Annual pre-Oscar Cocktail Party) are reportedly set to perform, along with Beyonce Knowles and Mamma Mia! actors Dominic Cooper and Amanda Seyfried. Apparently, even Australia director Baz Luhrmann is getting in on the action. Sounds like it could be awesome or disastrous. Both work for me, frankly.
