The event was the premiere for Jennifer Garner’s new film “Catch and Release.” As we’ve seen on numerous red carpets before, the girl can clean up.
Looking fit and fabulous in a strapless black satin number, the 34-year-old dazzled photographers at the Los Angeles screening. In the movie, which is something of a departure from her usual high-kicking action roles, she plays a woman struggling to come to terms with the loss of her fiancée and the secrets he kept from her.
In real life the performer’s home life is very different. Indeed her newfound domestic bliss apparently proved the main obstacle to regaining her figure after little Violet was born. “I didn’t lose my baby weight for a long time,” she explained. “I just didn’t want to – I didn’t want to take that hour away from her and work out.”

uh, yeah I gotta remember that line about the baby weight thing. She doesn’t have to make excuses for herself at all, she looks great, so why come up with this lame comment?
