Jennifer Lopez may be 40, but she’s still caliente. Very few mommies can get away with a bedazzled catsuit or barely-there leotard/cut-out, lace-up top (as seen on this Elle cover). Girl doesn’t even need a bra!
Lopez recently opened up to Elle and aired her views on fame, motherhood, age and matters of the heart.
I love how Jenny gets sassy when it comes to the age question. When asked to comment on competing with 20-something pop idols as a 40-something mom, she whipped back, “This is what I do–what, because I have kids and a husband now I’m not supposed to be me? I’m a more heightened me if anything. Hyper J.Lo. Everything I wanted before, I want twice as much now. And that doesn’t mean material things; it means to explore more, to think more. Being an artist doesn’t start because you’re 21, and it doesn’t end because you’re 51. You are who you are until the day you die.”
Dayum, that topic hit a nerve! If any of you readers got lost in that response, I looked up the translation from J.Lo’s Guide To Interviewing, which states : “You wanna know why I can compete with 20 somethings? Check out the Elle photo spread, estupido.”
