OK, so Jeremy Piven actually did have mercury poisoning and is clearly frustrated dealing with the Actors’ Equity Union. But to say in a statement that mercury poisoning was “recently described by the Obama administration…as the world’s gravest chemical problem.” Hmm, maybe this would have more impact if he weren’t the only person I’ve ever heard of who’s been afflicted with this particular problem.
