Celebs stepped out to see the crowning glory of East Harlem: the new Target.
As if never transfixed by the red and white revolving emblem, it beckoned to New York’s finest (okay, that’s up for debate) to show them it’s every day home goods, groceries, greeting cards, baby clothes and more.
Bethenny Frankel, Jerry Seinfeld, Russell Simmons, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Trachtenberg and Tyson Beckford were just a few of the big names that were there to catch Rapper Doug E Fresh‘s performance and local chef Marcus Samuelsson debuted his new cookware line.
Even local nobodies like Jodi Hanel, 41, were surprised by some of the products. “The fresh fruit and vegetables really stood out for me,” she said. “I’ve never see that in a Target before.” (Please note I didn’t tamper with this quote at ALL. You can’t make that shit up.)
Target reps have been pumping up the new store as a boon to the neighborhood, with merchandise specially-selected to appeal to the store’s neighbors like that of Spanish language and Ebony greeting cards, Latin and Gospel music and “a large assortment of multicultural dolls,” according to a statement from the store.
God help them when they get a Wal-Mart. It’ll be like the second coming…

Bethany is really ugly. WTF!
Bethenny is so pretty, always looks gorgeous in red love her.:)
