The ass clowns have landed.  Pauly D, Snooki, The Situation, Ronnie, Vinny, Sammi, JWOWW and Deena arrived in Florence today, a sign that MTV has obtained at least a few filming permits.  We have a feeling lots and lots of remote Tuscan countryside scenes will take place, as the cast of Jersey Shore is not allowed to be filmed drinking in bars or in public.  Despite enough roadblocks to cease production, the network has gone ahead with season four in the fame Italian city.  We, along with everyone else in America, have a very bad feeling about this.  No one, but no one in Florence wants the tri-state defects and their hair products anywhere near their culturally-rich city.

The New York Post got word from more influential voices from Florence, and none of its positive.  “We needed to have some general rules on behavior in place. US universities with study centers here are not very happy. They’re afraid people will start drinking too much,” a rep from Florence’s city council said.

“If the ‘Jersey Shore’ guys do what has made them famous there will be trouble,” wrote Italian journalist Beppe Severgnini.
