Well, can’t say I’m too shocked with this announcement. People confirms that Jesse James and Kat Von D have officially broken up after a little less than a year together. Jesse told the magazine, “I’m so sad because I really love her. The distance between us was just too much.” Kat was in LA filming her reality show and Jesse was in Austin, TX with his family, so I guess that kinda makes sense.
Jesse and Kat announced their engagement back in January and seemed quite happy together. Kat was so happy she even went around flashing the engagement ring. The two had planned to have a summer wedding right around the one-year anniversary of when they first got together.

Kat also confirmed the split on Twitter saying, “I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I’d like to share. Thanks for respecting that.” So since that’s all they’re saying, it is now up to us to think of reasons. Other than the whole distance thing, of course. Did he cheat again? Did she cheat? Was their clashing tattoo collection too much to handle? The options are limitless.
