Jessica Alba looked…what’s the word… tubular today in Beverly Hills.  I was all about her ensemble: Hair on top of head, colored sunglasesses, neon orange jeans and a teal sweatshirt.  OH!  And how could I forget to add a denim jacket.  Alba, my 9-year-old self and my scrunchies salute you.

Alba told Marie Claire (June issue) that she didn’t want to initially be seen as a sex symbol, a title she’s earned over the years.  ”I had a show [Dark Angel] that premiered when I was 19. And right away, everyone formed a strong opinion about me because of the way I was marketed,” Alba explained.  ”I was supposed to be sexy, this tough action girl. That’s what people expected… I felt like I was being objectified, and it made me uncomfortable. I wanted to be chic and elegant!”
