An unfortunate thing happened on Jessica Alba‘s way out of her front door this morning. And yes, they were her pants. At least that’s what I’m assuming those large swathes of purple cloth wrapped our her legs are. To top it all off–and by all, I mean the tight-rolling, the pleats and the ballooning around her bottom–she’s wearing a purple belt with a bow on it.

Who’s to blame for this atrocity? Partially, I hold Katie Holmes responsible for the pegged aspect of the pants. The unflattering high-waistedness, well I’m going to pin that on Chloe Sevigny.

As for the lack of a smile from her face, that’s totally Honor Warren‘s fault. When she’s not around, Jessica doesn’t have anything to smile about. Certainly not her outfit.
