In her continuous pursuit to be taken serious as an actress and as more than Justin Timberlake‘s arm candy or punchline, Jessica Biel tells MTV that she was happy her character in recently debuted The A-Team wasn’t the typical objectified female role.
“This character is not gratuitous. She’s not there to look cute and be pretty and be a girl thrown into the mix. She’s really there for a plot reason,” said Biel.
Luckily, this means Bradley Cooper is getting sexy time showing lots of skin.
”The thing about Face is that is what he does. He uses his charm. He’s kind of maybe a little self-absorbed at times and loves to be tan, as we all know in the movie. And that’s his thing,” explains Biel. Watch the video of Jessica Biel talking with Bradley Cooper after the jump.
In reality, Biel just wants to be “one of the boys” and for us to forget her perfectly toned body, which she’s obsessed with working on.
I’m ok with this, because in the “The A-Team” Paris photocall at the Champs de mars near the Effeil Tower in Paris yesterday, I’m looking at Bradley Cooper and not her.
