Jessica Simpson, whose inability to remember the words to her scant hit songs has done little to stop her successful foray into country music, is denying any talk that she is a “jinx” for her boyfriend’s football team.

Simpson, who can be seen here hitting up David Letterman‘s show to promote her album Do You Know, told Extra that any talk of about her having a bad influence on Dallas Cowobys quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo‘s game “was absolutely ridiculous.”

As for her plans to cheer Tony from the sidelines, Jess said, “I won’t be wearing the jersey to the game, but I have been there and definitely going to support the Cowboys all the way.” And destroy the Voodoo doll she made of Tony–once proposes, that is.
