FOX might be giving Jessica Simpson crap for her weight gain, but some men find her buxom curves quite alluring–men like 300 star, Gerard Butler.

The Scottish actor was spotted out on a date with Simpson, who brought some friends to act as a buffer, one of whom was Jessica’s longtime pal and stylist, Ken Paves.

A snitch tells Page Six, “They were at a table with friends, but Jessica and Gerard, who sat next to each other, seemed to only be interested in each other and chatted for hours.” The source added, “They were laughing and flirting and eventually left together, along with Ken.”

While I can’t really see the connection between the two, Jessica sure could use some happy news right about now. And Gerard does look like he knows how to make a girl happy.
