Even though she was left devastated by her split from Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson is determined not to become a shut-in. The singer–seen here out and about in Los Angeles with a big smile on her face–was recently spotted at a listening party looking quite chipper at the home of famed jeweler Pascal Mouawad in West Hollywood.

Simpson showed up at a listening party for singer An Ya, who was recently signed on to the label of her father, Joe Simpson. After the event, Jessica wrote on her Twitter page, “Just left my dad’s new artist An-Ya’s single release celebration with my family. Good luck sweetheart! You are a doll.”

Wearing a big smile on her face, Jess posed for pictures looking glamorous in a sparkly, black dress. She looks like she’s doing a great job of moving on. But then again, wouldn’t you have a big smile on your face if you had just been given thousands of dollars of free jewelry. Tony who?
