Here’s Jessica Simpson, doing her best to smile on the red carpet, when we all know the poor thing is having quite a time in the wake of the disappearance of her Maltipoo, Daisy. While we recognize that there’s no way to replace a lost pet, Jessica is doing her best to soldier on.

Simpson tells Us Weekly, “I hold her memory very, very close. It was an unfortunate thing what happened. That I don’t have her every day… It’s a very hard thing to talk about.”

However, Jessica isn’t sure she’s ready to move on at the moment. The singer adds, “I haven’t really thought about another dog yet, but maybe sometime. [Daisy] would want that.” A moment of silence for the pooch would be greatly appreciated.
