Jessica Simpson Talks Weight, Love & Singing With ‘Vanity Fair’

May 4th, 2009 // 6 Comments

The first thing I thought when I saw that Jessica Simpson had given an interview to Vanity Fair and posed for the cover was, “What the hell is she going to talk about?”

Usually, someone’s got a project to promote–be it a film or an album–but it turns out this is one of those “clear the air” type interviews. No bombshells here, though, just Jessica reassuring us that her music career is still intact, as is her relationship with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

In addition, Jessica flashed some leg and cleavage for photographer Mario Testino as she discussed some of the backlash she experienced after gaining a few pounds. I can’t imagine saying some of the things people have said about me about anybody else,” Simpson revealed.

Of her music career, Simpson claims that being dropped by Sony Nashville is just a temporary setback. “There will always be another opportunity, another door to walk through.”

Let’s be real here. The woman needs another reality show with a hot hubby. That’s when she really shines.

I don’t know why everyone loves to hate her. She looks fantastic and she sounds pretty F’N intelligent in the article. Good for her.

  2. Juice

She definitely looks incredible. He’s got a lot to work with here, but there’s no doubt that Mario is an artist.

I am so sick of Jessica, Tony, and the Simpson Cowboys. Please stop publishing stories about this hasbeen’s weight issues. It is old news. I am also tired of hearing about her lame boyfriend. who cares. Please magazines, publish something new about people who are more interesting than that pathetic lame family.
