Jessica Simpson has decided that a more hands-on approach was needed for her currently dismal public relations situation. Following the embarrassing and often confusing media coverage of her relationship with John Mayer, Jessica has decided to take the reins in handling her public image. According to the Starpulse News Blog:
Simpson decided to step in and handle her own publicity and personally called all of the tabloid magazine editors to repair her damaged relationship with the press. She tells Jane magazine, “It’s been very emotional. But I am my own publicist right now. I’ve called all the heads of the tabloids. I don’t want anyone else to speak for me now.”
Except my relentlessly creepy father, of course, she forgot to mention.
