Clearly, the couple consisting of Jessica Simpson and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo are Texas football fans. But we had no idea they were supporters of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team. The twosome showed up at the Staples center yesterday to watch the Lakers beat the Orlando Magic 100-74, along with a host of other celebrity fans.

A more familiar set of famous faces included staunch Laker fans Jack Nicholson, Anthony Kiedis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Penny Marshall and Tobey Maguire. In fact, it’s rumored that Nicholson’s movie shooting schedules are required to accomodate the Lakers basketball season. And that’s how he’s had nearly perfect attendance at their games for over three decades.

Now that’s a man who doesn’t have a problem with commitment.
