What? Jessica Simpson has posted this message-type thingy to inspire her fans or something on her website . She’s also recommending books. She reads?
Hey everyone. I hope you are all doing well! I am getting ready to start MAJOR MOVIE STAR and I am so excited! I just got back from spending some time in Europe, and while I was there I visited many museums, and have been reading about different artists. I have also been writing a lot in my journal recently. I was reading a book about Michelangelo and there were 2 quotes that caught my attention -
“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.” Michelangelo
“Each time we face our fear, we gain strength, courage, and confidence in the doing.”
These quotes inspired me to write the below passage. I hope you can find your own individual meaning in it, as I keep coming back to it and find new strength.
(Flynet)
Keep reading for the “passage” in question (plus more photos). I have no clue what she’s saying, and I don’t have the joy of heterosexuality so that I can at least admire her for her jugs. So her existence is kinda joyless for me.
“Sometimes we are all so afraid to be honest with ourselves because we know that honesty will lead us somewhere off the path of the life we’ve mapped out in our minds. Today, I challenge us to ask ourselves this…
What if we allow our fear to provoke us into action?
Can facing our fear be what walks us to somewhere better?
I do not have your answers, but in the quest to find my own, I’ve discovered somewhere worth traveling to… In my life, I ignore my fears too often, but then I’m left with nothing to challenge the best of me. I just remain cowering from my true identity. There is no discovery.”
Again I say – what? Thanks for taking us on this spiritual journey. I feel so fulfilled I could just punch myself in the nuts.

I bet that gibberish is a comfort to the dentally challenged kids she dumped. She’s not goofy, she’s actually rather stupid.

J Harvey allow me to translate: “I am going to the mall to eat as many hot dogs on a stick as I can shove down my throat”. Thank you and good night!

Christ, I think I just broke my brain trying to figure that gibberish out.

In a nutshell conquering your fears will strengthen you as a person.
I like the message. I don’t believe Jessica Simpson is stupid, though she is ditzy. In Tv interviews I have always felt she came across quite well.

Hey, at least she was grammatically correct. That is something completely foreign to Lohan. PUNCTUATION PEOPLE! Commas do count! Use Them!

I’m an English teacher; she is not very bright and a bit incoherent. Never say in a rambling paragraph what can be said in one sentence.

I agree with Jerri, she at least has command over the English language and what she says makes literate sense.
If only people like Lohan, Britney and Rosie would do the same…..

jeri, I think you mean to say, “PUNCTUATION, PEOPLE”
I hope Jess did do the things she claims in her post–I would like for her to name those museums, though…not sure I completely buy the new cerebral thing from her.

Gail – not sure Hardy, Nabakov, Joyce etc would agree with you!!

Actually, I think what she was saying was right on. She didn’t say it in the best way, but it was quite right. We don’t want to look at the “bad” parts of ourselves. We don’t want to admit the truth about things in our life, because we are afraid that will mean we’ll have to make changes. Smarter than anything that the rest of the you have said here.

God help me but I like Jessica Simpson. What she wrote wasn’t so stupid. It rambled on, yes, but compared to Paris (please sihn my petition) and Lohan, it was positively Einstein-esque. She seems like a nice enough person. You don’t hear Mean Girl stories about her or stories about all her drug use. I thought she was hilarious, and quite self-deprecating, on The Newlyweds. And she is very naturally pretty when she doesn’t overdo the hair and makeup. I just like her. God save my soul.

Can someone please tell this retard to buy a bigger size in jeans so she doesn’t have camel toe every time she wears them? Thanks!
ELH | May 25, 2007 at 6:43 pm
haha Trixe, no need to apologise, Jessica is by far the “nicest” starlet that we all talk about. As you say, she’s not out there banging everything that moves or sniffing up the
bugle. I think she made sense. unlike lohan and paris. eugh!
