After striking out in the arena of country music, Jessica Simpson is returning to the genre in which she really shines, reality television. The singer skyrocketed to fame when she and (now ex-) husband Nick Lachey allowed the world into her person life in the MTV series, Newlyweds and now, she’s reportedly returning to the medium that made her a star.
However, Us Weekly reports that her new series, The Price of Beauty will be slightly headier fare. An inside source reveals, “She and a friend set off on a road trip around the world in search of what people find beautiful and why.”
This trek will have the 28-year-old blond and her buddy acting like beauty guinea pigs as they try a few “shocking things that women do to make themselves beautiful.” Details for her reality project have yet to be finalized, according to her rep, but it sounds like fun. I’m predicting there will be lots of tweezing, lasers and industry-strength spandex. Sign me up!
