Believe it or not, those heinous red platform boots Jessica Simpson was wearing during her performance at Sea World that offended PETA. It was because the People for the Ethical Treatment of animals had urged the pop star to pull out of the San Diego, California concert out of protest to the dolphins kept in captivity there.
Michelle Cho, special projects manager for the organization wrote Simpson, “We’re asking you to support the dolphins. Please reconsider your decision to perform at SeaWorld and promise not to appear at venues that exploit animals in the future.”
As you can see, Jess decided to move forward with the performance, but as a tradeoff, she punished her audience with some really ugly footwear. Well-played, Simpson.

it’s bad enough she butchers all

but now, she’s got the “look”
