Today was Red Nose Day 2013 in Britain, where celebrities used their star power to raise money for Comic Relief charities.

Singer Jessie J shaved her head to raise almost $1 million for those affected by HIV and victims of sex trafficking.  Jessie described her act as”the smallest thing that I could do to give back to these people that need it so much.”

After, she went on stage to reveal her new look. 

“It’s the weirdest feeling.” Jessie said as the TV presenters touched her fuzzy head.  ”It feels liberating, but it isn’t about this [shaving the head].”
