Jim Carrey Broke A Rib In The Name Of Comedy

December 9th, 2008 // 1 Comment

Taking on the role of a man who is forced to say yes to every possible suggestion given to him, Jim Carrey has done a good job of adopting that mantra in his real life.

The rubber-boned comedian actually broke a rib while filming scenes for Yes Man because he was so eager to create a believable scene. His co-star Molly Sims said, “A scene called for us to bump into each other, and he just went for it and crashed around and broke a rib for real.” Ever the consummate, albeit wacky professional, Jim finished filming the scene.

But let’s be honest, Jim’s never really been one to turn down a dare to begin with.
