Jimmy Choo Spits Some Deep Shit For Y’all

November 29th, 2006 // 2 Comments

He may be most famous for the sexy footwear he creates for the world’s most glamorous women, but Jimmy Choo also seems to be a bit of an onion. He has layers.

Did I seriously just use the “onion” metaphor in a blog post? *Shakes head.* From Reuters:

“I think the past is past, we have to look forward,” he said. “I would like to say to young people whatever you do — good, bad — it’s the past. Look forward. Never think back.” Dressed in a black suit with white shirt and a bright, patterned tie, and sporting austere, pointy, black leather slip-ons he made for himself, Choo offers a nugget that, perhaps, many of the women who swoon over his creations can relate to. “Shoes are not just a pair of shoes,” he says. “Shoes are art.”

I just wish it were easier to find art in my size. Unfortunately, when you’re whopping size 11, you usually end up with those giant framed pictures of clowns crying.

    Arecapeego -

The creative director is Tamara Mellon and she is a raging she-beast who forced Jimmy Choo and his niece out the company he started. I hope she falls in front of on the Tube while wearing his namesake. Horrid woman.
