Why is it so freaking funny when people fall?

Jimmy Fallon challenged Vodka lover Chelsea Handler to a martini contest that involved mixing three martinis,  running around the studio with them, and then filling beakers with the remainder to see who salvaged the most drink. Didn’t they go to college? Alcohol competitions always end up with someone going to the hospital.

While Chelsea raced the studio in sneakers Fallon took a huuuuuge spill in all the vodka that was covering the stage. “I am bleeding,” Fallon announced showing a bloody cut on his right hand. Watch the video after the jump.

“I just wanted to promote my book” Chelsea said. Handler has a new book out called Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang, which she was signing at Barnes & Noble in New York yesterday.

“What’s wrong with you?” said the sore loser.

“This is an awful game,” she replied, “I should never come back here.” Fallon declares Chelsea the winner and holds up her book saying he will be reading it with one hand. Check out the video for a great slow-mo and to see Jimmy return with a bandaged hand.

It looks like they learned the hard way what we at Socialite Life don’t take for granted. Martinis should never be part of a race – they’re sacred.
