Even though I’m totally on board with the concept that beauty is only skin deep, it’s hard to find fault with the skin covering the super-toned body of True Beauty contestant Joel Rush.
Rush was cast on the reality series conceived by Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher, to ambush individuals obsessed with their superficial beauty and teach them to cultivate inner beauty.
And it seems the show’s efforts were clearly successful as Joel has recently landed himself a modeling contract with Vision Model Management because everyone knows that the single most important requirement for a professional model is inner beauty.

There is no inner beauty – only pathetic, deluded ugly people attempting to console themselves over their failure to be attractive. “True Beauty” will do the world a service in proving that only the gorgeous deserve to have attention paid to who they actually are.
Unattractive people choose to be ugly – like terrorism, it’s a deliberate attempt to ruin life for everyone else. Face it: if your looks don’t stop traffic, you might as well just throw yourself under the wheels and stop spoiling things for everyone else.

too bad about the tats ruining an otherwise nice bod. tats are over people. still great for ex-cons or biker gangs, however.

I really dislike Joel! I think he’s a self centered jerk, that desperately needs to develop a modestly bone. I think his personality makes him truly an ugly person.
I don’t care at all about what anyone else says, I think he is very ugly, based on everything that comes out of that bastard’s mouth!

Sorry, but I am one of those people who find inner beauty far more attractive than physical perfection. If he were a kind, considerate and sweet guy and look like that then I would be totally won over; but that self-obsession is a bit fat turn off.
Of course all of this is easy for me to say since he would not piss on me even if I were on fire. He’d keep walking and I’d burn to the ground.
On the other hand I would be more than happy to piss on him – fire or not.

He represents our society all too well in that there’s nothing beautiful going on inside him. He’s so out of touch with ‘inner beauty’ that his statements are completely repellent in their arrogance and egocentrism. But I doubt that will have an adverse effect on his career in modelling, etc. He might as well be a prostitute for all the ethics of that so-called industry.
