What a day it was for John Travolta. Sure he seems to have gotten all that hair back he lost when filming Savages, but one of his most prized possessions got stolen in the process. According to reports, John’s vintage, 1970 Mercedes Benz sports car was stolen yesterday in Santa Monica.
Apparenlty, John had parked the beauty on a residental street to visit a Jaguar dealership. He was gone for only 10 minutes when he returned to find an empty parking spot where his car once was. The car is estimated as having a market value of $100,000 since it was a vintage vehicle. Ouch!

John even had the keys on him at the time of the theft, and police are unsure if he was followed or if someone happened to see the car and stole it. Either way, that super sucks. Well, at least he’s got a cute baby that can make him feel better about life.
John was spotted earlier today at the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, CA to introduce the newest Bombardier aircrafts. I’m sure it was a nice way to get his mind off his car. I hope he finds it. Also, how violated do you think he feels? Someone is out there driving around his car, touching his stuff in it–my car just got broken into and I felt like the thieves had seen the inside of my soul.
