was nice enough to perform at WPLJ’s Holiday Concert for Blythedale
Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, New York today. It was a daylong
concert and auction that was broadcast live.
He was joined by Matchbox 20‘s Rob Thomas, Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson. And hopefully Aniston’s dogs stayed away.
When
celebs do hot things for good causes, it’s hard to snap. Good job,
John. You’re a goofy bitch, but at least you’re a generous one.

It was more like John Mayer, Sarah Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson joined ROB THOMAS. He was the main event and he was fantastic!

After signing useless autographs to the children at Blythedal Children’s Hospital, who were told to falsely respect him, groping several nurses and getting the desired photo-op with an obligatory, token, black kid, John started into his well known Dave Matthews impersonation, to promote his upcoming CD “ALL IN MY POCKET”. After getting into character, he launched with a sincere, “Faking it for Cash”……. going seamlessly into “Big Mouthed Head” and then an acoustic version of “Disgusting”, complete with facial contortions, and finally closing with a seemingly, never-ending version “Jealous of me, much?”……..until the people in the Hospital started to prefer the snow outside, than endure any more of his shallow brand of self promotion.
