CBS has announced that they are “pretty close to closing our deal” with musician/Jennifer Aniston moth John Mayer at a conference today.
CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler announced that it will be a “musical variety sketch show” that is “being developed now.”
“One is it’s sort of a pilot. It could be for a series of specials,”
she said. “It could be just for a series. We’re just going to shoot the
pilot now and see what we have and make a decision after that,” Tassler said.

That is an absolutely horrible thing to say. I don’t understand why people seem to hate John Mayer so much. I am personally excited for this show, I think it’s a good idea. How on earth does John ‘bray’ about himself? And the only reason he has ‘too much’ exposure is because silly tabloids and gossip websites follow him and Jenn around making up rumours. Also, what do you mean by ‘Vince Vaughn with a guitar’? Are you tryng to comment on his sense of humour? If so you need a better way to do that because that didn’t make any sense. John Mayer is actually hilarious. Besides what do you have against Vince Vaughn? I still don’t understand how he will be Vince Vaughn by having a music television show. And I hope you weren’t in any way refering to his guitar skills by saying their like Vince Vaughn’s. John Mayer is an amazing guitarist and you would know that if you spent an eighth of the amount of time you do writing stories about his personal life listening to his music.
