Tragedy has really has it’s eye on John Travolta and Kelly Preston recently. The couple, who headed to lunch on April 27, better look both ways before crossing the street.
Back January of 2009 the couple’s son Jett Travolta died after hitting his head in the bathtub. On Thursday the couple’s two small dogs were being walked at the airport after arriving on an airplane when the pups were hit by an airport service vehicle in what is being called a “freak accident” and an “unfortunate accident.” But why the hell is someone walking dogs on a tarmac? Last time I checked people had to walk around there with bright orange vests and big flashing lights.
There are always horror stories about dogs escaping after landing and taking off into a highway or just never getting loaded. Maybe these stories make me paranoid (I don’t even check my luggage), but I’m all for leaving dogs at home with a loving sitter unless you can carry them with you or have a PJ. Which of course makes me ponder why Travolta’s doggies weren’t on one (only picture i had of it), but I’m not putting any of this on them. It’s just so sad. R.I.P. doggies.
