Japanese fans went nuts at the Narita International Airport when Johnny Depp arrived in Tokyo to promote his film, Public Enemies. And chances are, they’re going to get even more excited when they learn the news that the actor will be collaborating with his long-time friend, director Tim Burton on a new project.
MTV News reports that Burton and Depp are teaming together to bring the 60s vampire-based soap opera, Dark Shadows, to the big screen. Producer Graham King confessed, “We’re actually going to shoot that film next September/October with Tim Burton and Johnny.”
Sorry, Twilight kids, it looks like Tim’s already got his own vampire movie to make.

I’m so glad he wont be a part of the Twilight saga… I think he is a genius, but I would hate to have his style be a part of it. I just don’t think its a good fit.
