At the West Side Jewish Center in New York City, Jon Gosselin chatted with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach in an effort to come clean about his desire to clean up his act. The 32-year-old admits, “Half the stuff I’ve done, if I look at my moral compass, I shouldn’t have done. I know that but I did it anyway. It’s like fame canceled out conviction.”
Of the mistakes he’s made, Gosselin believes that the public nature of his relationship with 22-year-old Hailey Glassman might be the worst. “I want to apologize to Kate in private. I’ll apologize to her for openly having relationships in the public eye…And now that I think about it, it was a very wrong thing to do. I definitely regret it.”
As for Hailey, despite her claims that she has repeatedly been verbally abused by Jon, Gosselin claims that the twosome are still an item–sort of. “We decided not to take a break, just slow things down, until I get through my divorce and I know everything is settled and okay.”
Things will never be okay, Jon.
