Oh dear. It looks like Jon Gosselin made up the rumor about his estranged wife, Kate Gosselin, having an affair with her lovable bodyguard Steve Neild. Bad Jon.
A source told Radar Online, “Jon wanted a divorce and he also wanted to throw attention away from himself, so he spread that rumor. Jon doesn’t like Steve so he didn’t care about the repercussions.”
Kate ended being the one who filed for divorce on June 22. “She didn’t want to, and in fact on the day the papers went in, Kate was with her attorney crying and sobbing. She was very, very upset,” the source added.
“Kate definitely did not want the divorce. She did it because she felt she had to protect herself.”
Uh, huh. Regardless of what happened, it looks like Jon and Kate do care about the 8. They all gathered for an explosive 4th of July.
