TLC is finally pulling the plug on what has gone from a heartwarming reality television series about an oversized family of ten to a messy and very public televised dissolution of a marriage. Jon & Kate Plus 8, starring now estranged parents of eight, Kate and Jon Gosselin, will stop filming new episodes for the series after November.
As for his financial situation, Jon has admitted that withdrawing money from the couple’s joint account was a mistake. Gosselin explains, “It was just after arbitration, we weren’t supposed to take money out of the restrictive account and we both did. I was found in contempt for doing so, I didn’t realize, I was just like taking my paycheck out.”
However, Jon Gosselin, he claims that we won’t have to wait long until
he returns to television. Well, that’s a relief. Gosselin tells Entertainment Tonight he plans to “continue on television” and is “not worried about future employment.” As well he shouldn’t be. We’re currently experiencing a booming economy and who wouldn’t want to watch a show about a divorced dad who…well, what does he without the Kate & Plus 8?
