Jon Voight, like a lot of people, wants to see Angelina Jolie’s twins. At the world premiere of 24: Redemption in New York on Wednesday night, Voight discussed his holiday plans, including how much he wants to meet his newest grandchildren, twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. They, of course, belong to his daughter Angelina, whom you may have heard of.

“The twins! Holy smokes…I’m hoping, so we’ll see,” he said. Voight and Jolie have had a difficult relationship in recent years. And even though they are reportedly attempting to fix things, the
actor has yet to meet his twin grandchildren.

“I think she’s very happy,” Voight said. “I saw her here before the twins came, and she was so happy. I’ve never
seen her that happy.” He added. “I
think it’s wonderful that she loves kids,” he says. “She always had
this very unusual idea about family. I can’t really attribute it to
anyone.”
