The star of hot new series “The Tudors” (and one of my favorite flicks ever “Velvet Goldmine”) has gone into the booze pokey. That was fast. And judging from pics I’ve seen of this cat, it wasn’t just for booze. He’s got that White Christmas look if ya smell what I’m steppin’ in.
“After a non-stop succession of filming Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program,” rep Meredith O’Sullivan says. “He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery.”
The 29-year-old actor, who costarred with Scarlett Johansson in Woody Allen’s Match Point last year, portrays King Henry VIII in The Tudors, which premiered on April 1, and recently completed filming the drama August Rush with Keri Russell, Terrence Howard and Robin Williams.
Meyers’ rep adds: “Jonathan plans to resume his schedule following completion.”
Some ladies think he’s hotsy totsy. I’m not seeing it. Clean lines but looking deranged.

It’s the eyes and the accent that get us girls all a-twitter for this dude. Other than that he doesn’t have much going for him. He could definitely use some muscle meat on those bones.

I thought he was hot since I saw him on Bend it like Beckham (haha)… and then I rented all his movies to drool over him HEE HEE… that accent.. man!!! But it’s no surprise he’s in rehab, isn’t he already known for having anger problems (like physical fights with gfs and such) and drug problems?

I would drink his bathwater!!! He is one lovely Irish bloke. I dig Irish guys, maybe because I’m English and never do the expected!!! He can ride me until I squeel like a pig!!!

I can only imagine his difficulties It is not easy being that damn gorgous! Seriously! Lets remember his talent and the material he chooses makes him more than a sexy face and body. If he needs to satisfy his mind and feelings with rehab then well done! He is proactive about his faults. That is to be recognized above all else. Mr. Meyers….. I will be wishing and praying for your solitude.
