Josh Brolin was turned off by Scientology after a “bizarre” encounter with John Travolta when he tried to convert the late Marlon Brando at a dinner party. Brando arrived with a cut on his leg which the devout Scientologist Travolta said he could help heal with his touch because he had reached a “new level” in Scientology.

“I watched this process going on — it was very physical,” the True Grit star said. “I was thinking, ‘This is really f***ing bizarre! Then, after ten minutes, Brando opens his eyes and says, ‘That really helped. I actually feel different!’”

Travolta, however, denies that this ever happened. His attorney told the New Yorker the story is a “pure fabrication.” Well Brolin had been weirded out by something. He admitted he’s looked into Scientology at “moment of real desperation” but decided against it. Aliens!
