Remember when Josh Hartnett sued the Daily Mail for reporting that he’d had a late-night romp in the library of a London Soho hotel where he was staying? Well, now he’s experiencing a pay day as a result of the published report.

The actor, who has been residing in London to star in a West End production of Rain Man, was awarded nearly $30,000 in damages for the article that claimed that the rendezvous had been caught on surveillance video by hotel employees.

Thank God nobody takes anything we say seriously.
