Josh Hartnett is headed to London to star in the West End stage production of Rain Man. Josh will be playing the role Tom Cruise played in the popular 1988 movie — Charlie Babbitt, the brother of an autistic man.
The story is updated to the present time, which should be interesting now that autism is more familiar to the public. I’m a little disappointed that Josh isn’t playing the autistic brother, because the rain man is such an awesome role.
The play is expected to be a huge hit, unlike this upcoming Broadway debut, and is set to open in the Fall.
