“Dylan, what TV shows do you watch? Gossip Girl? You should be watching Gossip Girl. Let me tell you why…”

And I wonder why they never let me interview the big stars like Julian McMahon and Dylan Walsh (“Nip/Tuck”) that were out last night at the Hollywood & Highland shopping complex for the faux opening of the new L.A. office of McNamara/Troy. The “office” was complete with a waiting room (including a live woman reading magazines) and a hologram show of the doctors unwrapping a patient’s face bandages. Check out the video above for a bit of the hologram show and our interview with everyone’s favorite plastic surgeons.

The setting of “Nip / Tuck” is moving to L.A. from Miami for the 5th season, which premieres Tuesday, Oct. 30th at 10PM on FX. When asked by one reporter what that change will be like, Dylan joked, “Well the commute will be shorter.” Oh, silly Dylan. The show was actually always filmed in L.A., but now that it’s set here the guys will have to compete with the thousands of plastic surgeons in our Beverly Hills Must-Look-Young-and-Perfect culture. For some reason, I don’t think these charming fellows will have a problem.
